The viewer pays the chosen amount and may voluntarily cover the displayed DonoLink fee and an estimate of Stripe's processing fees. Stripe still charges its actual processing fees to your connected account, so your net amount can differ slightly.
The examples use a standard UK card at Stripe's published UK rate (1.5% + 20p). Premium and non-UK cards cost more; Pay by Bank costs 0.5% + 20p.
Pick an amount with the slider and see what you keep of the same support from Twitch Bits and from a DonoLink donation.
From a £10 donation you keep £9.30 on DonoLink, against about £7.10 from the same amount in Twitch Bits (estimate). That is £2.20 more.
Twitch does not publish a fixed rate for what viewers spend on Bits; the bar is an estimate of about 71% reaching the streamer. The DonoLink bar deducts 3.5% and Stripe's fee for a standard UK card (1.5% + 20p). Premium and non-UK cards cost more. Amounts in pounds.
Pay by Bank and Revolut Pay appear once Stripe has activated them for your account. Pay by Bank donations cannot be charged back.
You get paid in your own currency, with the payment methods that are common in your country.
DonoLink (also written Dono Link) is a donation platform for UK streamers and content creators. You get one personal donation link for Twitch, YouTube, Kick and TikTok. Viewers pay by debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Pay by Bank without a DonoLink account, and every donation can appear as an alert in OBS. Donations are voluntary payments to you, not gifts to a charity, so Gift Aid does not apply.
The account is free and there is no subscription. DonoLink charges 3.5% per donation, and Stripe charges its own fee to your connected account: 1.5% + 20p for a standard UK card. On a £10 donation, Stripe takes £0.35 and DonoLink £0.35, so you keep £9.30.
No. Viewers open your link, choose an amount and pay by debit or credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Pay by Bank once it is active on your account. Only you create an account, and creators must be 18 or over.
Yes. Your donation link works from your first stream, on Twitch, YouTube, Kick, TikTok and any other platform, with no minimum follower count. The overlays are regular browser sources for OBS and Streamlabs Desktop.
Donations land on your own connected Stripe account. Stripe pays out to your UK bank account in pounds on your payout schedule, and your dashboard shows every donation with its net amount.
